HR has worked with the management on the revision percentage and finalized everyone\u2019s numbers.\u00a0 Now, this needs to be communicated to the individuals.\u00a0 Typically, this letter would have following elements:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0Welcome\/introductory note for the letter<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0Designation related information<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Congratulatory note to be included if there is a promotion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0Salary revision related message<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Percentage rise<\/li>\n<li>Any base corrections<\/li>\n<li>Any bonus message<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0Closure message<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have a non-performer and setting performance improvement goals, make sure that you state them clearly along with the deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While the above can be different elements, these would change from person to person.\u00a0 For example, revision letter for a star performer would be different from people who are average performers\/non-performers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/marketing.synergita.com\/e-book-50-problems-pm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.synergita.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/E-book.png\" alt=\"Download Ebook\" width=\"650\" height=\"44\" \/><\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>HR needs to be really careful in making sure the message is communicated well and taken in positive sense across all segments.\u00a0 They have to carefully draft the letters and hand-over to the employees.\u00a0 This takes time.\u00a0 But, it is an important step in the entire appraisal process.\u00a0 HR should necessarily invest the time required for completing this task properly.<\/p>\n<p><b>Best practices:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
