LeanHack Session: Hacking the Build-Measure-Learn Loop

LeanHack Session by E-Cell, IIT Madras – 29th September 2018 at 6:00 pm

E-Cell, IIT Madras, a non-profit organization, strive for creating, instilling and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among fellow students. They arrange numerous events, workshops, panel discussions, and competitors like hackathons, throughout the year in the institute.

E-Cell is coming up with a one of a kind business startup competition: LeanHack which provides an experiential environment for people to learn entrepreneurial skills, experience new things, get exposure and interact with business mentors.

The competition revolves around the concept of ‘The Build-Measure-Learn Feedback Loop’, where startups engage in a cycle of creating and testing hypotheses by building something small for potential customers to try, measuring their response, and learning from the results and develop their product/service. It's a fail fast, learn fast experience that packs a lot into one action-packed dynamic weekend that puts business ideas under the spotlight.

Presenter:

Prabakar Marimuthu, Director of Engineering at Synergita, is speaking at the event. He will be sharing his experiences of the journey of establishing and building Synergita from the scratch, and how they were able to build such prestigious customers’ base.
