Employee recognition is definitely a good thing to do, and is a way to communicate appreciation for good work. Employee recognition motivates the employees to performance effectively. Many organizations believe and say that employees are their best asset and therefore,they put in a lot of effort to retain better performing employees. But it is difficult to find new and creative ways to recognize employees which are effective and long lasting.
